ASS STADA 100 mg are enteric-coated tablets to prevent the formation of blood clots (antiplatelet aggregation). They contain 100 mg acetylsalicylic acid. The round biconvex tablets have a diameter of 7.1 mm. For use: - for secondary prevention of myocardial infarction, - for the prevention of cardiovascular morbidity in patients suffering from stable angina pectoris, - for the history of unstable angina pectoris, except during the acute phase, - for the prevention of transplant closure after coronary artery bypass transplantations (C. ABG), - in coronary angioplasty, except during the acute phase, - for secondary prevention of transient ischemic attacks (TIA) and ischemic cerebral infarctions, provided brain hemorrhages were excluded. ASS STADA is not suitable for emergency situations. It is limited to secondary prevention for the treatment of chronic diseases. It is easy to take: take the tablets whole and with sufficient liquid. Due to the gastric juice-resistant coating, the tablets should not be crushed, broken or chewed, as the tablet cover prevents irritation of the stomach. The usual dose for long-term treatment is 100 mg once a day. Please note that ASS Stada should not be used in a higher dose without medical instructions and the highest prescribed dose must not exceed 300 mg. ASS STADA is also available in the pack of 50 tablets.
