Description

The HOLZBRINK pull weight is a reliable, professional solution for cleaning your chimney from above. It is also useful for making clogged pipes permeable again and such elements such as small sticks, mortar or brick pieces. Our pull weight is made of cast iron and painted black to increase its resistance to mechanical damage. The pull weight has an extremely durable eyelet to which a shackle, carabiner hook or rope loop can be easily attached. HOLZBRINK uses systems with M12 thread so that all components fit together and can be used in different configurations. After unscrewing the eyelet, any brush from the HOLZBRINK range can be attached to the ball.

When removing soot from above, gravity is mainly used. The heavier the pull weight, the easier it is to carry out maintenance work. The weight of 2.6 kg is ideal for larger chimneys. The second important parameter is the diameter of the ball. It should be adjusted to the size of the chimney, so there is no risk of the drag weight getting stuck in the pipe.

Tip: To clean the chimney from above, you will also need a sturdy rope or flex rod and a brush adapted to the material and chimney size. Rigid steel boiler brushes are ideal for traditional brick or ceramic pipes. For stainless steel chimneys, it is better to use the plastic chimney broom.

Dont forget to get protective gloves, work clothes, dust mask and safety equipment. With a mirror and a flashlight, you can check whether the chimney is permeable. A painters film and a bucket with hand shovel help you remove the soot accumulated on the ground.
