Description

Beginners childrens djembe painted in dotpaint process, 30 cm.

The djembé from West Africa is probably one of the most popular African drums. This is a single-headed cup drum, which is available in different heights. (Other sizes are available in our store)

A djembé is played with hands and delights with an extensive sound spectrum from clear, crisp slaps to deep bass. This drum is made from one piece of mahogany wood and then oiled. This creates a robust surface that makes it resistant to everyday use. The base has been decorated with the traditional Australian dot-paint painting and gives a rather atypical look for this type of drum, which makes the djembe also an unusual favourite piece.
The playing surface is made of goat skin. The tensioning system made of nylon cords guarantees a long-lasting mood of the djembe. Additional cords form a carrying strap.

Terré instruments are handmade from the natural wood product. Thus, each of these drums is a sonic, artisanal and artistic unique piece. Therefore, the delivered product may differ from the picture. !
