Pony 50 clamp mount for 1/4 inch black whistle is Americas most popular, most widely used clamp mounting design. It is ideal for metalworking, woodworking and frame assembly - in applications ranging from DIY to industrial production. Attaches to any length 3/4 inch black pipe with both ends thread (pipe not included). A pony clamp mount is one of the most practical tools in any shop. A set of pony clamp fixings can be used to create any number of different length rod clamps by using the fixings on different pipe lengths. Heavy duty black tube is recommended. No tools are required for assembly. Simply screw the head mounting onto the pipe thread at one end. Slide the end stop onto the pipe at the other end. Then apply the coil spring stop to the pipe thread on the end of the pipe to prevent the end stop from slipping off the pipe during adjustment from the work to be clamped. Pony clamp fixings are interchangeable from one pipe length to another, so one set can meet multiple needs. (Note: make sure the pipe lengths are at least 7 inches longer than the work to be clamped). Pony clamp fixings feature the original multiple cup design that allows for a secure grip at any point along the pipe; no slipping, no crushing of the pipe...simply toward or away from the work to be held. The extended clutch discs are accessible above and below the tube for easy release. Castings are malleable iron and/or ductile iron, orange and black stoving enamel. Screw is 5/8" diameter steel with special smooth cut ACME thread; Hardened steel thrust bearing in slide head prevents wear at the point of screw; Crank handle multiple disc couplings are made of hardened steel, 4 pieces per set.
