Description
The cobalt step drill M35 (HSS Co) is a hardened step drill that is mainly used for drilling in hardened steel, e.g. Stainless steel flat sheets, hardened steel, used.
Hand drills and step drills can be used to drill holes in flat sheet metal made of stainless steel. Use the hand drill for thicknesses up to 1 mm and the bench drill for thicknesses of 2 - 3 mm.
The drilling speed on stainless steel plates should not be too high, 100 rpm is sufficient.
To prolong the life of the drill, it should be cooled with water or cutting fluid during the drilling process.
