The device operates at a constant power of 4 kW in the temperature range of 0 °C - 25 °C (±3 °C) and is controlled by a thermostat.
The temperature sensor measures the temperature in the lower area of the device and compares this with the value you set.
- The set temperature range is below … Main burner is automatically switched on.
- The set temperature range exceeded … Main burner is automatically switched off
The main burner always works with a consistent power (4 kW).
In very cool outdoor temperatures and ground frost, temperatures below +7 degrees can occur near the ground.
The ambient temperature in 1 m - 2 m height can be significantly higher. (Warm air rises upwards).
Please take this into account when selecting location (e.g. place device higher).
