The connection to a community, to nature or to yourself, is what makes people drumming: A rhythm is easy to feel and can be created by everyone.

The overwhelming majority of percussionists and drummers use the djembe to create a rhythmic connection to their audience - and thats not just trained musicians. Drum circle participants, therapists, hobby drummers and a variety of other groups from all areas have found their perfect rhythm instrument with the djembe. Easy tuning

If you need a crisper sound or more bass, remove the rubber cap at the bottom of the tuning nose and turn it left or right with the supplied tuning key to adjust the tension on the fur. If necessary, the noses can be loosened to completely remove the fur from the body.

Crisp treble and deep bass

The durable synthetic fur gives you the sound and feel you would expect from a natural fur - from rich bass to crisp slap tones - with the added benefit of a long-lasting mood. Play indoors or outdoors, and dont worry if the weather fluctuates.

Protective rubber coating

The underside of the Alpine Djembes are sealed with a durable rubber coating. This is a design element that these djembes cannot do without. This makes these djembes ideal for use on roads or on grass when playing with an outdoor drum circle.
