To determine the pitch of the saw chain, measure the distance between three rivets.

As the division is indicated in inches, you compare your measurements with our specifications:

12.7 mm = 1/4 inch (LP) 16.5 mm = .325 inch 18.6 mm = 3/8 inch (LP) 20.5 mm = .404 inches

To ensure that your saw chain runs reasonably in the guide rail, the number of drive links (TG) should be correct.

So make the effort and count the drive links on your old chain to avoid ordering a wrong chain.
