Thermguard:
A special, heat-retaining microfibre and ceramic layer between the brake pad and the carrier plate prevents the heat generated during braking from being transferred via the carrier plate to the pistons of the brake caliper and thus to the brake medium.
Semimetallic:
- Ideal compromise between wear and braking power.
- Less wear than organic coverings.
- Better performance (higher braking power) than sintered pads.
- Good hot braking properties.
