The Traxxis mount features a breakthrough design that sets a new standard for storing and delivering functionality. By simply pulling up the motor head, the angler can fully store the engine with just one hand. There are no release levers or press studs. In the past, many anglers have considered deadbolt motors difficult and cumbersome to use, Traxxis one-handed design is smooth and simple, allowing anglers to fish instead of fumbling with a motor.
Traxxis uses a revolutionary new tiller steering mechanism that allows the user to adjust the handle to the way they fish. The push button handle tilts up to 45 degrees while extending from 9.25 inches to 15.25 inches. In addition, the contoured push button handle is ergonomically designed for comfort.
Traxxis also has a new cam lock depth adjustment. Instead of the typical depth control of the tension knob, the angler controls the motor depth by turning a lever. The cam lock provides even, even pressure and will not loosen over time like a tension knob. Once set, the Traxxis depth stays securely fixed without slipping.
In addition, Traxxis has a new, revised steering pull mechanism. Instead of using a set screw, Traxxis features a collar mechanism that allows for subtle adjustment of steering tension. When fully tightened, the collar provides a vertical storage option for added versatility.
