The DP-008EX allows professional recordings with multiple functions in the smallest of spaces. With its stereo condenser microphone built into the front, this compact, battery-operated multi-track recorder is optimally designed for on-site recordings. Record vocals or acoustic instruments at any time - without extra equipment and no set up time. Thanks to analogue operation via controller, chromatic tuning function, metronome and ultra-light construction, this pocket studio is one of the easiest to use composer tools on the market. The DP-008EX has two XLR/jack inputs with phantom power for connecting external condenser microphones, an electro-acoustic guitar or a line-level source (e.g. synthesizer). With an optional adapter cable, you can also connect a tablet computer such as an iPad. Recordings are saved directly to standard SD/SDHC cards (a 2GB card is already included).
You can easily swap your song ideas with other devices at any time via the USB 2.0 interface. Numerous editing functions are also available. The DP-008EX features looping effects such as EQ, Compressor, De-Esser and Exciter for all input channels. In addition, there are different hall types that allow you to give your shots the desired room sound.
You can set the effect content for each channel with your own controller. There are also masterring effects such as 2-band EQ, multi-band compressor and normalizer that allow you to refine your mixture in high quality. In addition to mastering by hand, you can also rely on the automatically analysing mastering function.
