The most compact version - 2-way bass reflex speakers with complete active technology

The Monitor Reference 2A is just 175 mm wide and 290 mm high, making it slimmer than an A4 sheet. Nevertheless, it offers the complete performance of the range. With Bluetooth input (version 5.0) aptx, HDMI input with ARC, phono input and other analogue and digital inputs, it replaces the complete stereo system and of course also makes an excellent impression as an acoustic revelation on the computer. The 25 mm measuring tweeter dome shares with her siblings, the compact but powerful deep midrange with 125 mm diameter can be used alone. With this it plays down to 38 Hz, which in many cases should be completely sufficient. At the other end of the frequency band, it is only at 40,000 Hz. You can therefore give the reference 2A quite Hi-Res material.

Compact but sounds like a big one

The amplifier integrated into the active speaker provides 2 x 35 watts continuous power (RMS) or 2 x 75 Watt Peak Power The elaborately equipped crossover sorts the music signal at 3,500 Hz. As both amplifiers sit in a speaker, you only need one socket to connect, the passive speaker is simply connected to the active specimen via an included cable.
