This insulated floor mat can be used in muddy conditions to create a clean surface to put your feet up when you sit on your bed. Once youre in your sleeping bag, the mat forms a barrier between the damp, cold floor and the bottom of your bed. If you are fishing with a bivouac mat, the mat can be used to catch muddy boots, or you can take off your shoes before you lie down in bed, and it helps keep your bivouac mats clean.
