The clamp has been manufactured using an elaborate process. In this process, the clamp has been CNC pocket milled after rough cutting to reduce weight. In addition, the clamp has been chamfered all the way around. The clamp is black anodised and therefore completely dyed and high-quality dyed. The special clamping screws used are in size M8 with small head and require an M6 Allen key for installation. The included M8 compression screw and the locking washer are galvanised. The Core Squad SCS clamp is mainly made for SCS forks and SCS handlebars. In combination with other compression kits, problems may occur! Possible uses of SCS oversized clamps. This SCS clamp is particularly suitable for titanium handlebars. We recommend switching to the SCS compression system when driving a titanium bar. In addition, the clamp can be used in combination with IHC forks to increase the handlebar by 3.8 cm or to create a more stable connection between a titanium handlebar and an IHC fork. This connection is more stable than the conventional version with a fork with adapter and a handlebar with slot. Even with a broken or shortened aluminium bar, this clamp can be used to continue driving the bar without a slot with the IHC compression system.
