Feature

●Permanently elastic lashing strap (diameter 10 mm) with 2 x carabiner hooks (diameter 6 mm x 67 mm, highly polished) made of the best marine stainless steel for the installation of sun sails for clamping awnings concave with an area of 5 m² to 25 m². Lashing strap with 2 x cabin hooks firmly mounted at both ends - strong elastic round strap with solid 10 mm diameter - 70 cm long - extended approx. 115 cm long. Extremely weather-resistant and very high quality also due to the outer diameter
●The logic! Concave awnings, where the edge seams are cut out arched towards the centre of the sail, are hung on the awning corners and should be under continuous tension. This continuous tension due to the pull at the corners of the sailing results in so-called Tangential forces (see photo gallery) that pull the fabric out of the sail centre outwards. Note: The high-quality V4A stainless steel will never rust, because it is also acid-resistant or seawater resistant.
●So the concave awning always hangs beautifully smooth under continuous tension. This means that no bumps or wrinkles can form that could cause water bags in heavy rain that can destroy a sun shade sail. We advise to secure the continuous tension with elastic elements when clamping concave triangular sails and square sails. Often concave awnings hang slightly loosely after a few weeks after being stretched out and form water bags.
●This effectively prevents permanently elastic clamping elements. The elastic permanent tension (either via elastic lashing straps or tension springs made of stainless steel) effectively protects a concave awning against wind peaks, as occurs at the beginning of a strong thunderstorm or, of course, in strong winds up to the hurricane. With the elastic tension elements, you have protected your awning and also the fasteners from avoidable tensile damage.
●The lashing strap offered here with two firmly mounted stainless steel carabiner hooks ensure a firm, strong and permanently elastic basic tension, with the addition of tension springs of size 1 - 5 (depending on the size of the sun sail) also for optimal safety, durability and tension of the awning.

Description

Permanently elastic lashing strap with 2 x carabiner hooks made of marine stainless steel for the installation of awnings for tensioning awnings concave with an area of 5 to 25 m². Tie down: with 2 x carabiner hooks fixed on both ends. Strong elastic durable round strap round 1 cm diameter - 70 cm long - extended approx. 115 cm long. The logic! Concave awnings, where the edge seams are cut out arched towards the centre of the sail, are hung on the awning corners and should be under continuous tension. This continuous tension due to the pull at the corners of the sailing results in so-called Tangential forces that pull the fabric out of the sail center outwards. So the concave awning always hangs beautifully smooth under continuous tension. This effectively prevents permanently elastic clamping elements. The permanently elastic lashing strap offered here with firmly mounted two carabiner hooks fulfils a double function: 1. The permanent elasticity ensures a strong basic tension. 2. The two spring-secured carabiner hooks are significantly stronger than the hooks on the elastic lashing straps, which we offer as standard for smaller triangular sun sails and square sun sails.
