The Supra CAT8 cable is superior to all competitors, because it is future-proof as it allows compliance with the 40GBASE-T standard (= 40GByte transmission via copper cable) via just one cable. It is backwards compatible with the CAT 6A standard. The Supra CAT8 exceeds the CAT 6A standard by four times and realises a transmission bandwidth of 2000 MHz. Supra CAT8 connectors are optimised RJ45 connectors that also ensure this extreme bandwidth.
Supra CAT8 should be used anywhere where it is particularly important to error-free data streams in real time. This is for example 4K and 8K video streaming, streaming HiRes audio data (24/192 to 32/384), high-resolution video games and building installations. Thanks to the outstanding properties of the Supra CAT8, the return of control bits can be reduced or even completely eliminated. This prevents the "still image effects" and "stuttering" during video transmission.
Our Supra CAT8 is built with double shielding to avoid data loss and mutual leg flux of different signals. This is extremely critical in many applications. With regard to PoE (power over ethernet), this is the power supply via LAN cable, a larger conductor cross section was used than in the CAT 6A cable. This makes the Supra CAT8 ideal for safely operating even power-hungry devices without voltage loss.
