Use:
1. When the adjustment is done. If the current is in the circuit of the slider, the series circuit should be kept in the circuit, the resistance of the rheostat should be maximum. When you then connect the power supply, slide the conductive brush and gradually reduce the resistance to make the current suitable.
2. When adjusting the voltage of the circuit between two points, slide the rheostat into the parallel circuit, and keep the resistance of the rheostat to a minimum. Then connect the power supply, slide the conductive brush and gradually reduce the resistance to generate the voltage ends.
Note:
1. When the rheostat is used, it should not be too close to the heat source.
2. Long-term use of the rheostat can lead to poor contact between the oxidation insulation and the Resi wire brush before use, the oxide layer should be wiped off. Long shocks for other reasons, it may seem that the screw is loose, the slider solves other diseases. Make sure the control is eliminated.
3. Reostat must not exceed the rated load.
