Product Description

1/35 UAZ-469 Plastic model kit of a Soviet 4x4 vehicle, built length 115 mm. The UAZ-469 was developed at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant, the first vehicles were released on December 15, 1972. The UAZ-469 had an open five-seat body that could accommodate five people (including driver), but if necessary, two more people could sit in the cargo area on folding seats. In its place, 600 kg of equipment and cargo could be loaded, in addition, the UAZ-469 could pull an 850 kg trailer. Passengers were protected from bad weather by a tarpaulin tent whose arches were removable, and the windscreen could be folded onto the bonnet. In this case, the height of the vehicle was significantly reduced, which facilitated transport in a helicopter. In August 1974, three absolutely standard UAZ-469B climbed to an altitude of 4200 m in just 38 minutes during a test drive in the Elbrus area, as well as a civilian version.
