Description

Our auger bits are made of high-quality, hardened carbon tool steel. This material selection allows high cutting performance and load capacity. In addition, the auger drill bit is equipped with a centring point, which allows very precise centring of the drill. Thanks to a retraction thread located on the centring tip, the drill pulls into the wood, so less pressure needs to be applied when drilling.

While a clean and tear-free hole edge can be produced even at low speed thanks to the pre-taper, the auger bit also impresses with a very good chip removal.

The auger bit is suitable for drilling through holes in beams and rafters as well as for making deep blind holes.

A taper in the direction of clamping shaft from 1:50 to 1:100 should avoid clamping in the bore.
