Description

Our auger drill bits are made of high-quality, hardened carbon tool steel. This material selection allows for high cutting performance and resilience. In addition, the auger drill bit is equipped with a centring tip, which allows very accurate centring of the drill. Thanks to a feed thread located at the centre tip, the drill pulls into the wood, so less pressure must be applied when drilling.

While thanks to the also existing pre-cutter, a clean and tear-free hole edge can be produced even at low speed, the auger drill also impresses with a very good chip removal.

The auger drill bit is suitable for drilling through holes in beams and rafters as well as for making deep blind holes.

By tapering towards the clamping shaft from 1:50 to 1:100, clamping in the bore should be avoided.
