Description

We carry high-quality spark plugs from NGK!

In order for the petrol-air mixture of our scooter engine to ignite, an ignition spark is required at the right time, which is produced by the spark plug between your electrodes.

A scooter motor with mostly low displacement and high speeds places high demands on a spark plug. Often it has to withstand a lot of short distances, many cold starts, high speeds...

Regular replacement is mandatory for trouble-free operation. Everyone should have a replacement spark plug in their luggage :-)

The right spark plug selection is essential for trouble-free operation. We recommend everyone to adhere to the manufacturers instructions regarding the heat value. An incorrect heat value can even lead to major engine damage quite quickly.

The heat value is always indicated as a number in the type code/name of the candle. Unfortunately, every manufacturer handles the number allocation differently, so that as an example a 3 spark plug from Bosch at NGK has a 9 heat value. For this purpose, however, there is a manufacturer specification for almost every vehicle in the manual with mostly alternative spark plugs.

As a rough rule of thumb, a too "hot" value means that the spark plug itself is subject to a higher temperature and has a better self-cleaning effect, but the engine is also exposed to overheating and piston clamp danger. The opposite extreme would be too "cold" value, the candle only hesitantly comes to its operating temperature and has a
