ANCEL VD700 supports the 8+ most commonly used maintenance functions
Reset electric parking brake (EPB) EPB (Electric Parking Brake) is a technology that realises the parking brake by electronic control. VD700 is an essential tool needed to release the rear electric parking brake when the rear pads or discs are replaced so that the calliper piston can be moved back. It can also clear codes and turn off the EPB light when finished (Note: Further EPB steps can be found in the product instructions and documents).
Reset TPMS: You can use VD700 to clear the codes and turn off the TPMS warning light after replacing the tyre. (Please note: Some vehicles with TP20 protocol do not support this function, please use the reset button of the vehicle to reset the TPMS warning light).
Adjustment of throttle position: If the following problems occur: Choking the engine or ignition starter, poor engine power, lack of power, transmission (gear) does not switch correctly, this means you need to have the throttle position sensor (TPS) checked. After that, the error codes must be deleted. VD700 can clear the codes and reset the TPS. (Please note: All protocols are supported, but the KWP1281, KWP2000 and TP16 protocols require manual operation).
Reset oil service: If you want to reset your oil service after an oil change or just want to reset your inspection warning light (please make sure your vehicle is in good condition), this is the device you need.
Steering angle sensor calibration: You can use VD700 to read the error codes, guide the sensor calibration if necessary, and clear the codes when you done. (Please note: 1. Place the steering wheel in the centre and align the front wheels straight before performing the SAS reset. 2. If the SAS MIL light lights up on the dashboard after you reset the SAS and the codes cannot be deleted, you need to turn on the ignition and pull the steering wheel as follows: the left end, the right end and then back to the middle)
Learn injector: After replacing the injector, you need to write a new injector code to tell the control unit how much balance is required to achieve the optimal in reducing emissions and ensure smooth operation. VD700 can help you complete this process.
Battery registration: Adjust the control module and motor sensor, clear the original information about a weak battery. After replacing the battery, you must have registered. Please choose the appropriate battery capacity, brand and serial number.
DPF regeneration: The most common reasons for DPF outages are: Short journeys where the engine does not reach the optimal operating temperature. Clogged EGR valve, allowing more diesel soot to enter the DPF Defective injectors that add too much fuel into the air fuel mixture. VD700 performs forced regeneration, turns off the DPF light and resets the ECU after the filter has been replaced, and resets the additive light after refilling.
