Description

ANCEL VD700 OBD2 Diagnostic ToolANCEL VD700 OBD2 Diagnostic Tool

ANCEL VD700 is an improved version of the ANCEL VD500 OBD2 diagnostic tool. It specialises in the diagnosis of vehicles of the Volkswagen group (VW / Audi / Skoda / Seat), it can diagnose all systems (such as ABS, transmission, SAS, SRS, ESP, TPMS and other systems) and maintenance functions (such as throttle position adjustment, brake pad, reset TPMS, steering angle learning, oil service reset, injector learning, Battery registregistrand DPF reset, etc.) for VAG vehicles. The OBD2 diagnostic tool works with 12V cars and light trucks (not electric) manufactured after 2002 and have the OBD II interface as well as the 16 pin OBD II connection. It comes with an advanced STM CPU, a 2-colour UI theme 2.8 inch screen, 11 display languages and a special feedback function. It can diagnose your vehicle in just a few seconds due to its automatic vehicle model identification function. We also offer lifetime updates to ensure it always has the latest error code database.

Please note:

1. VAG vehicles mainly use TP16, KWP2000, KWP1281, TP20, and UDS protocols. Depending on the protocol of your vehicle, the specific reset functions may vary. * Some old protocols require manual operation. Please read the user manual carefully before use.

2. The system scan function can automatically scan the vehicle fault systems and display the errors in red.

3. The ANCEL VD700 is suitable for all VAG vehicles. If your VAG vehicle is a 4-pin OBD DLC, you need to adjust an OBD2 to 4-pin diagnostic adapter plug for diagnosis.

Why choose the ANCEL VD700 All System VW diagnostic device?

Supports 12V cars and light commercial vehicles (not electric) manufactured in 1996 or later and are OBDII compliant with 16 pin OBD II protocols (J1850 VPM, J1850PWM, ISO9141, KWP 2000 and CAN)

Other basic functions for Volkswagen (VAG) vehicles: Engine system, SRS (airbag), TPMS, ABS, SAS, transmission system, ESP system, battery system and battery test function, immobiliser, retrieve VIN information and read data stream.

Other maintenance functions for Volkswagen (VAG) vehicles: Throttle position adjustment, electric parking brake reset (EPB), TPMS reset, steering angle sensor calibration, oil service reset and injector learning, battery registration and DPF regeneration, access permission.

6 OBD modes and other functions for OBDII vehicles: Read and clear codes, retrieve VIN information, test EVAP system, read data stream, I/M readiness, battery test function.

ANCEL VD700 supports the 8+ most commonly used maintenance functions

Reset electric parking brake (EPB) EPB (Electric Parking Brake) is a technology that realises the parking brake by electronic control. VD700 is an essential tool needed to release the rear electric parking brake when the rear pads or discs are replaced so that the calliper piston can be moved back. It can also clear codes and turn off the EPB light when finished (Note: Further EPB steps can be found in the product instructions and documents).

Reset TPMS: You can use VD700 to clear the codes and turn off the TPMS warning light after replacing the tyre. (Please note: Some vehicles with TP20 protocol do not support this function, please use the reset button of the vehicle to reset the TPMS warning light).

Adjustment of throttle position: If the following problems occur: Choking the engine or ignition starter, poor engine power, lack of power, transmission (gear) does not switch correctly, this means you need to have the throttle position sensor (TPS) checked. After that, the error codes must be deleted. VD700 can clear the codes and reset the TPS. (Please note: All protocols are supported, but the KWP1281, KWP2000 and TP16 protocols require manual operation).

Reset oil service: If you want to reset your oil service after an oil change or just want to reset your inspection warning light (please make sure your vehicle is in good condition), this is the device you need.

Steering angle sensor calibration: You can use VD700 to read the error codes, guide the sensor calibration if necessary, and clear the codes when you done. (Please note: 1. Place the steering wheel in the centre and align the front wheels straight before performing the SAS reset. 2. If the SAS MIL light lights up on the dashboard after you reset the SAS and the codes cannot be deleted, you need to turn on the ignition and pull the steering wheel as follows: the left end, the right end and then back to the middle)

Learn injector: After replacing the injector, you need to write a new injector code to tell the control unit how much balance is required to achieve the optimal in reducing emissions and ensure smooth operation. VD700 can help you complete this process.

Battery registration: Adjust the control module and motor sensor, clear the original information about a weak battery. After replacing the battery, you must have registered. Please choose the appropriate battery capacity, brand and serial number.

DPF regeneration: The most common reasons for DPF outages are: Short journeys where the engine does not reach the optimal operating temperature. Clogged EGR valve, allowing more diesel soot to enter the DPF Defective injectors that add too much fuel into the air fuel mixture. VD700 performs forced regeneration, turns off the DPF light and resets the ECU after the filter has been replaced, and resets the additive light after refilling.

FAQ:

1. What is the difference between VD500 and VD700?

- In addition to hardware upgrades, the VD700 can perform more high-level reset functions than the VD500 (e.g. B TPMS reset, steering angle sensor calibration, battery registration, injector learning, DPF regeneration, etc). Meanwhile, it also has OBD 6 modes for OBDII vehicles (VD500 can only read and clear codes, read vehicle information for OBDII vehicles).

2. The description says it can support all VAG vehicles. Why cant my car perform all the functions mention?

- VD700 supports OBD-6 modes of all VAG vehicles (Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat, Bentley, Lamborghini, Bugatti, etc.) as well as complete system diagnosis (depending on the actual number of systems in the vehicle). However, the reset function is bound to the protocol used by the vehicle.

3. I have a VW vehicle and a non-VW vehicle, can I buy the device for both vehicles?

- Yes, you can. VD700 can diagnose the engine system, battery test and OBD 6 modes for 16-pin non-VW vehicles sold in the USA after 1996. Meanwhile, it can do more systems and special functions on your VW vehicle.

4. How will it get started?

- It does not need a battery or charger, just plug into the OBD II port on your car and turn on the ignition and get the power directly from the OBDII data link port in your vehicle.

Battery registration

Failure to register and code a new battery may lead to improper charging. The VD700 code reader can help you register a new battery once you have replaced it. Simply click on VW - special function - battery registration. Note: 1. During this process, you need to enter the battery capacity, brand and serial number. 2. Not all vehicles need to perform a battery set after changing batteries.

Real-time data stream

The VD700 OBDII Error Code Reader is an advanced diagnostic tool that communicates with the vehicle computer. With the vehicle scanner, you can view "real-time" data. This information includes the values (volt, speed, temperature, speed, etc.) and system status information (open circuit, closed circuit, fuel system status, etc.) generated by the various vehicle sensors, switches and actuators.

Auto VIN information:

The technology quickly and directly determines the vehicle information - a manual input is not required. The VD700 car diagnostic tool is an easy-to-use OBD2 scanner designed to help you solve car problems quickly and precisely. Supports automatic scanning of the entire vehicle system, the faulty system is highlighted red and the number of errors will be displayed.
