Experience enhanced performance and versatility with the Ham It Down 3GHz Downconverter. Designed to convert signals from the 1.55GHz to 3.1GHz range into the frequency range of software-defined radio devices such as our NESDR series of RTL SDRs and HackRF, this high-performance down converter takes your radio experience to a new level. Whether you want to expand the frequency range of your radio, operate satellite reception, or do scientific research, the Ham It Down 3GHz downconverter is the ideal companion.

This device uses a local oscillator frequency (LO) of 1.5 GHz. To compensate for this, you can use the downconvert/upconvert frequency offset feature available in most SDR software packages. Alternatively, you can set the desired frequency minus 1.5 GHz. In other words, to use the full range of the Ham It Down, your radio must be able to adjust to 50MHz to 1.6GHz.

Each Ham It Down module allows for three different power options, but you should only use one option at a time! The recommended power supply is provided via the SMA output port (for Bias-Tee-enabled devices). SDRs such as the NESDR (SMArTee XTR) have a voltage of 4V to 5.5V DC. If you dont have a bias-tee-enabled SDR, you can alternatively take advantage of the external power options - the USB-C port or DC barrel plug via the included DC-to-USB-C adapter. The recommended external power input is 4.0V-5.5V DC.

Enhance your software-defined wireless features with the Ham It Down 3GHz Downconverter. Unlock a world of possibilities and easily explore new frequencies. Order now and take your radio experience to a new level!
