Adjust backpack
As you will wear the backpack for several hours and over many kilometres of distance, the shoulder or Back padding is one of the most important things to consider when purchasing. But even more importantly, the waist belt is especially thick with a larger carrying weight. The padding must be sufficiently thick so that there is no pressure points on your body, even after several hours, you will still feel a comfortable fit. In addition, padded hip fins can increase the wearing comfort even further, so such models are particularly recommended. Heavier loads should be moved to the waist belt. This works better if the waist belt is sturdy. First you should adjust the waist belt and leave everything else loose. Then when it sits well on the hips, tighten the shoulder straps, but so that the weight is carried further on the hips, not on the shoulders. Finally, tighten the small straps on the shoulder that pull the backpack close to the back. At the end, the shoulder strap must not lie firmly on the shoulder. You should still be able to push your little finger inside. The goal is to carry the weight of the backpack not on the shoulders, but on the hips. The back part must be long enough for this. It also needs a carry frame that is incorporated into the back of the backpack.
