10 Brass Nest Tips with Crown
The ends of the nest bands have often been provided with metal sleeves, the so-called "nestel tips", to make them easier to pass through the holes or eyelets. These tips are made from non-ferrous metal sheet which has been cut out and hammered into shape to either press onto the nest or riveted by means of a hole in the bag-shaped nest tip.
This nestle tip can be settled in the late Middle Ages.
