Description

The lightweight Inmold full face helmet RUPI is made for children and weighs only 385 grams. Thanks to the removable chin bar, the helmet is particularly flexible. "Rupicapra rupicapra" means "chamois". With the RUPI, ambitious kids are not as tread-proof as the chamois, but much better protected. The ceramic shell in combination with the Hi-EPS core ensures that the forces can be absorbed in the event of a fall. The Run System ensures that the helmet fits perfectly, because only then is the best possible protective effect. As good ventilation is also essential downhill, the Rupi has 15 ventilation openings. Ceramic ShellAll helmets from Alpina that are manufactured using the in-mould process receive a robust ceramic shell. A polycarbonate plate is stretched to the shape of the later helmet under strong heat and pressed onto the Hi-EPS body with high pressure and thermally bonded to it. Hi-EPS ensures optimal protection and at the same time allows extra thin wall thicknesses as well as narrow helmet shapes. In the in-mould production process, the polycarbonate helmet shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS inner shell of the helmet body under great heat and strong pressure. This creates a large and inseparable connection of the upper and lower shell. Advantage: The helmet is very light and at the same time extremely stable.
