About us

Wenko - tradition and innovation as the basis of success. The success story of the WENKO-WENSELAAR begins at the end of the 50s. With the right sense for the better ideas in the household, the necessary spirit of invention and entrepreneurial passion, the founders Wietze Wenselaar and his wife Maria Köllner started the production and marketing of the metalised ironing board cover Germany. With the company entry of Hanns-Joachim Köllner, son of the founder family, the "Ironing" range and the household area was further expanded at the end of the 60s. The Wenko range includes around 6,000 products, which are used throughout the household with the focus of bathrooms, kitchens, laundry and living. Together with trend scouts, inventors and designers, around 500 new products are developed annually - always true to the motto "The Better Idea".
