Description

The wheels are the heart of the inline skates. The diameter, profile, hardness and the material are decisive here. - The diameter of the wheels determines the speed and acceleration that can be absorbed when driving. The larger the diameter, the higher the speed with lower acceleration. For the junior area, roll sizes between 70 and 80 mm are well suited. - The profile, the width of the wheels also decides the speed. The wider the wheels, the slower the roller skates. Wider wheels have the advantage of providing more stability. As standard, our junior skaters have a wheel width of 22 mm. - The hardness level is determined in a hardness test according to Shore A. The higher the number, the harder the rollers. For normal fitness and leisure skating, the wheels should have a hardness between 76A and 90A. On our 82A wheels, comfortable rolling is possible even on damp floors. - The wheels themselves are made of robust polyurethane. However, the respective ball bearing is crucial for driving comfort. The so-called ABEC scale is used to classify the ball bearings. The higher the class, the better the quality of the ball bearing. We use ABEC-7 bearings.
