Description
Hardened steel - a must!
To provide protection against bolt cutters and hacksaws, the hardness and diameter of your lock are crucial. Unlike many cheap imports, the lock shackle of this Kohlburg lock is made of hardened special steel and has a diameter of 14 mm. This means that the U-lock reaches the highest security level 10 (from 10). To protect your paint, the steel shackle is surrounded by a soft cover.
Extra safe cylinder
To protect against lock picking, the lock is equipped with a secure multi-disc cylinder. This is integrated into a 2-chamber locking system, which is visible by the striking T-structure of the cylinder. This protects against breakage by drilling the cylinder. To protect against dust and dirt, the cylinder also has a lockable dust cap.
High flexibility thanks to extra coiled cable
Depending on the location and time, it may be important to secure the front and rear wheels as well as existing bicycle accessories. The flexible loop cable with its length of 1.70 m fulfils this important task. Thanks to its loops on both sides, it can be easily combined with the U-lock. Please note that the cable naturally offers significantly lower protection than the U-lock.
Easy to transport thanks to special holder
The included 2-way bracket can hold the lock from two positions. It also grips the lock slightly offset on the side, so that the lock can also be transported on small frames. The mounting of the bracket on the bicycle frame works quickly and easily thanks to the included German assembly instructions (English language not guaranteed). Important: The bracket can only be attached to round frames with a diameter of 25 - 38 mm.
