The redesigned housing is guaranteed to replace all PAR 36 size halogen/incandescent bulbs. Our original LED replacement landing light is a direct replacement for all PAR-36 filament/halogen bulbs. Equivalent to the brightness of 100 watt sealed beam bulbs, but pulls only 1.0A at 14V DC compared to amazing 7.5A for the original. Significantly lower power consumption for critical systems. Our solid state circuit design is resistant to shock and vibration and with a lifespan of more than 10,000 hours, so continuous use of these LEDs for all phases of flight is recommended to significantly increase daytime running light detection and collision avoidance.
