Description

When the iron tip oxidizes and burnt flux accumulates on it, the solder no longer wets the tip, which hinders heat transfer and makes soldering difficult or impossible; the tips need to be cleaned regularly. Solder flux helps remove oxide; the more active the flux, the better the cleaning. A tip that is cleaned but not re-tinned is also prone to oxidation. Regular cleaning with our rosin coated tip cleaner, your soldering iron tips work better and last longer.
