Quick and easy drilling is possible as the self-centring tip prevents hiking. Due to the increased drilling rate, less heat and wear occurs. The PointTeQ design on the drill tip remains sharp and can withstand continuous use. This drill bit is suitable for drilling through and centring holes in alloyed and unalloyed steel, non-ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron and plastic. The shank is cylindrical (the shank diameter corresponds to the drill diameter). It is used with drill stands and drill drivers. The risk of breakage is particularly low for drills with a diameter of less than 6 mm, as the shaft is highly elastic. The black oxide coated groove allows for quick removal of chips. The PointTeQ HSS twist drill complies with DIN 338. The drill type is N (small side rake angle) with a tip angle of 135 degrees. Cylindrical shaft is suitable for sprocket drill chucks.
