3/8" HSS Pocket Drill3/8" HSS Pocket Drill

Description:

The lip and twist drill bit is a variant of the twist drill bit that is optimised for drilling in wood. Conventional twist drills tend to hike when they hit a flat workpiece. In wood, the twist drill is a solution: In the middle of the drill is not the straight chisel of the twist drill, but a spur with a sharp point and sharp corners to cut the wood. The sharp tip of the spur simply presses into the soft wood and keeps the drill in the track.
