The pentagram is already a geometric symbol used in the oldest times and can be found on pre-historical rock drawings. It symbolises people with extended arms and legs. The four points of the hands and feet symbolise the four elements (fire, water, earth, air). The fifth point represents the spirit not bound to the material (immortality). The five-star has no beginning or end and acts as a magical protection amulet in the connection of all elements with the mind. Like the circle, he possesses the power to bind evil forces and elementary spirits and therefore means happiness. I am Kerstin Homann, goldsmith with training in healing and runing.
