Description

The power supply Enertex KNX Dual PowerSupply 1280 (6 TE) provides two separately working KNX power supplies with a single device with 1280 mA and 320 mA and a third 30 V auxiliary voltage supply with 320 mA (100% overloadable). The device allows a compact realisation of a powerful inner line in conjunction with another physically and topologically separated second outer line. The additional unthrottled 30 V auxiliary voltage output provides a DC supply for other devices or a third KNX line (320 mA) using another external KNX throttle. Each of the three outputs has its own current limit, which protects against short circuit and overload. The limit is selectively executed so that in the event of a short circuit of an output or a KNX line, the other two outputs or lines can continue to operate normally. The device also has measuring and diagnostic functions. Measurements and device parameters are displayed on the devices OLED display, e.g. for both KNX and auxiliary voltage outputs, each current, voltage and peak current with time stamp. This makes it much easier to set up, maintenance and analysis of the KNX installation. Further measurement and diagnostic data is sent to the main line via group objects, including housing internal temperature, telegram rate, energy meter and the last bus voltage failure, the last bus voltage recurring and the last remote reset with time stamp. Communication via group addresses is done with standard KNX protocol unencrypted or encrypted with KNX Data Secure. With the help of two KNX group addresses, a separate bus reset can be executed for the main line and side line. In addition, the KNX Dual PowerSupply 1280 has an integrated real-time clock with power reserve of approx. 36 hours and can be parametered as a timer. An extensive gear hanger application is included.
