The power supply KNX PowerSupply960³ (6 TE) with integrated throttle provides the KNX Bus with a DC voltage of 30 V DC at a current of 960 mA. In addition, the device offers two additional unthrottled auxiliary voltage outputs (AUX A and AUX B) with 320 mA output current. Both auxiliary voltage outputs are 100% overload capable and can be used to supply other devices or with additional external KNX throttles for the supply of other KNX lines. Each of the three outputs has its own current limit, which protects against short circuit and overload. The limit is selectively executed so that in the event of a short circuit of an output or a KNX line, the other two outputs can continue to operate normally. The device also has measuring and diagnostic functions. Measurements and device parameters are displayed on the devices OLED display, e.g. for the KNX and for both auxiliary voltage outputs, each current, voltage and peak current with time stamp. This makes it much easier to set up, maintenance and analysis of the KNX installation. Further measurement and diagnostic data is provided via group objects on the bus, including housing internal temperature, telegram rate, energy meter and the last bus voltage failure, the last bus voltage recurrence and the last remote reset with time stamp. Communication via group addresses is done with standard KNX protocol unencrypted or encrypted with KNX Data Secure. With the help of two KNX group addresses, a separate voltage reset can be performed for both the KNX bus and the auxiliary voltage output AUX A. In addition, the KNX PowerSupply960³ has an integrated real-time clock with power reserve of approx. 36 hours and can be parametered as a timer. An extensive gear shift application with 64 switching times for max. 64 group addresses, including logic functions, holiday calendars and astro function are integrated.
