Description

Originally designed Thors hammer with goat head motif made of stainless steel. The horns of the goat form the two eyelets of the pendant. The hammer is equally carefully crafted on both sides and partially blackened. On the front and back it is also decorated with a Wotan knot and Celtic knots. Dimensions: approx. 44 mm high x approx. 37 mm wide. Inner diameter of the eyelet: approx. 6 mm. Weight: approx. 42.5 g. Meaning of symbols: The Thors hammer is also known as Thors hammer, Mjölnir or Mjollnir. According to Norse mythology, Mjölnir was the magical weapon of the thunder god Thor. Thrown against his enemies, the hammer never missed his target and always returned to the hand of its master. It stands as a symbol of strength and energy. Goats are a popular motif on Thors hammers. According to mythology, Thor had two goats - Tanngnjostr (teeth cracker) and Tanngrisnir (teeth grinding). These pulled his car. Celtic knots have no beginning or end and therefore serve as a symbol of infinity or eternity. The Wotan Knot (Valknut) consists of three intertwined triangles and stands for the power of Wotans / Odins.
