WIDIFLEX is a USB dongle for the USB-A port that adds premium Bluetooth BLE MIDI to all popular operating systems, including MacOS and Windows.

As a USB class compliant device, it does not require special drivers and works with the OSs integrated BLE MIDI drivers on supported platforms.

EASY SETUP

Thanks to automatic pairing, WIDIFLEX USB connects to other BLE MIDI or MIDI products without further setup and is ready to use.

WIDIFLEX USB complies with the official MMA (MIDI Manufacturers Association) Bluetooth MIDI specification and transmits all MIDI data including MIDI Clock, SysEx and MPE.

HIGH PERFORMANCE

WIDIFLEX USB uses Bluetooth 5 for a secure connection with double speed, quadruple range (up to 20 meters) and half latency over previous Bluetooth versions. Intelligent algorithms optimise performance and range for the respective application situation through adaptive frequency changes. At only 3ms, the latency between connected WIDI products is extremely low.

CREATE WIDI GROUPS AND FIRM PAIRS

Set up groups of up to 5 Bluetooth BLE MIDI devices with a central MIDI device and up to 4 connected devices via 16 MIDI channels. This is easily done via the free WDI app for iOS and Android or with Group Autolearn mode. The app can also perform firmware updates wirelessly.

Create fixed pairings to work with multiple wireless MIDI connections simultaneously, and set up multiple parallel groups with automatic pairing. With the MIDI app, you can also save setups for instant retrieval, so that when connecting the WIDI devices, all connections are automatically restored.

The minimum latency between two WIDI devices is only 3ms and delivers much better latency than built-in MacOS solutions. WIDIFLEX USB can be paired with devices running current versions of MacOS, iOS or Android (with Bluetooth LE MIDI and compatible MIDI apps).
