The LIVEN 8bit warps combines an 8-bit waveform memory synthesizer with a step sequencer specially designed for live electronic performance.

8-bit sweep function

The 8-bit sweep feature found in classic consoles and gameboys has been adapted and improved for the Live 8-bit warps. In no time at all, you can recreate classic soundtracks or create unique percussive sounds. The responsive DELAY and the BIT CRUSHER change the patterns in real time.

Effects for Loops

Typical tape loop sounds are possible by turning the mix-control of the delay fully on and then changing the speed control. Create short loops for stutter effects, or decrease speed and marvel at how the loop gets deeper and deeper with each repetition.

With the BIT CRUSHER you can reduce the sampling rate of the live 8-bit warp to emulate older digital synthesizers, or turn it fully up for drastic distortion effects. With the CHORUS and FLANGER, the 8-bit warp can be transformed into a rich "string machine".

64-step sequencer and 4-track looper

Dynamic sequencer mode with slice, random and stutter, step sequencer with up to 64 steps, real-time & step recording, parameter lock for each sequencer step, 128 patterns, extensive editing functions as well as a 4-track looper with adjustable quantization, panorama and volume per track.
