●Thors Hammer Pendant

Description

Thors hammer made of iron, hand forged.

The Thors hammer, also called Mjölnir (the Malmer), is the symbol of the thunder god Thor (in the German Donar). At times, Thor was considered the highest German god, especially among the simple free peasants and warriors, while the Scandinavian Jarle and Kings considered Odin (in German Wodan or Wotan) as the supreme deity. According to mythology, the dwarf Brokk forged the Mjölnir. You can throw it without ever missing the target. Thor successfully fought with the hammer against the giants who always threatened the gods of the Wanen and Aesir.
Today, the Thors hammer is considered an ornament and talisman, but above all it is an expression of paganism and atheism in a Christian setting.

The Thors hammer is hand-forged.
