Lets face it, the 1/4" jack you use in your guitar and pedals was designed to patch phone calls in the 19th century. The new Pure Tone Jack eliminates the need for those old crackling 1/4" sockets. The Pure Tone jack contains two voltage reasons and two positive tips for optimal signal and lowest possible noise. Larger surface area at all contact points creates a more stable connection, securely locks the cable in place and carries more signal; This greatly improves high and low frequencies, producing a much more balanced sound while eliminating frequency peaks. Most importantly, the Pure Tone Jack eliminates the infamous "crackling" sound caused by pressure reasons. The Pure Tone Jack Tensioned design locks the cable securely in place and the raised metal mass carries more signal.
