●Size: the mat opening is 1.3 cm smaller than the desired display image. E.g. 16x20 mat for 9x12 has an 8.5x11.5 opening for a 9x12 image. The outer mat size corresponds to the picture size of the frame in which the mat can be attached. For example: 16 x 20 mat for 9 x 12 inches fits into a frame for 16 x 20 photos.
●Quality: acid free and lignin free. Colourfast and will not fade.
●Material - All mats have a 45 degree bevelled inner cut and are made from 100% pure alpha cellulose surface paper, core and backing paper.

The outer mat size corresponds to the image size of the frame in which the mat is installed (e.g. B. 16x20 mat for 12x16 picture fits snugly into a 16x20 inch frame).
The mat opening is suitable for your desired display image (e.g. B. 16x20 mat for 12x16 picture shows a 12x16 image).
The image display area is slightly smaller than the image size of 1.3 cm, for holding purposes (e.g. e.g. the 16x20 mat for 12x16 picture has an image display area of 11.5x15.5 inches).
