Frost protection heating cable / heating cable / pipe heating

Frost-proof through the cold season.

- Holds your water pipe up to max. -45 °C frost-free.
- Integrated frost protection thermostat (switch-on temperature approx. +3 °C, switch-off temperature approx. +13 °C).
- Not suitable for heating pipes.
- Do not insulate the thermostat with additional insulation.
- Protect the area that the animals can nibble with a bite protection.
- Also suitable as a gutter heater.

What should be considered with 230 V heating lines:

- Always attach the heating cable to the underside of the tube.
- The water pipe must be grounded.
- The 230 V heating cables are ready to plug and connect to a power supply with circuit breaker (FI switch 30 mA).
- The heating cables must not be shortened and should therefore be ordered in the correct length.
- Remaining lengths can be wrapped around the tube in turns (note that a turn distance of at least 15 mm.
- Do not bend the heating cable and the max. Bending radius of approx. 50 mm.
- The heating cables can be attached to the pipe with insulating tape or with aluminium adhesive tape.
- When using on plastic pipes, the pipe must be wrapped with aluminium adhesive tape before laying the heating cable.
- The pipe and heating cable should be insulated with an insulation of max. 13 mm mineral wool or foam insulation.
- Insulation must be fire resistant.
- The thermostat of the heating cable should be attached to the coldest position of the pipeline
