Feature

●The greenguard restricts grass intake so that it extends over a longer period of time. This results in a feed conversion that is much better adapted to the horse organism, which significantly reduces the risk of frost.
●The formation of hoof fir is favoured by the excessive grass intake during the grazing season, especially for ponies and robust breeds are affected.
●The reason is the fructans present in the pasture grass, which cannot be sufficiently digested and digested in the small intestine. Therefore, they are strongly fermented in the large intestine, releasing toxins that reach the hoof skin via the blood circulation and thus trigger the extremely painful, inflammatory process of hoof fir in the hoof capsule.
●The design of the greenguard also ensures the urgently required air circulation in the area of the nostrils, so that heat build-up and an unhealthy, moist warm microclimate inside the muzzle is avoided.
●Breathing, water absorption and social behaviour are not affected by the greenguard, so that even the hoof fat-at-at-risk animals can easily participate in the grazing. Includes buckles!

Description

The standard size of the new greenguard fits warmblood, Haflinger, Norwegians, Icelanders and thoroughbred. Thanks to the four-digit buckle on the noseband, the muzzle can be firmly fixed, even if it offers additional space on the sides
